Accurex Lipid Profile Meter LPM-101 blood lipid analyzer for total cholesterol HDL triglycerides and calculated LDL
Rs. 15,999.00

The Accurex Lipid Profile Meter is a portable Blood Lipid Analysis System designed for quantitative point-of-care measurement of important lipid parameters using compatible Accurex dry-chemistry test strips.

With the compatible LPS-101 3-in-1 Lipid Profile Test Strip, the system directly measures:

  • Total Cholesterol – TC
  • HDL Cholesterol
  • Triglycerides – TG

and can calculate:

  • LDL Cholesterol
  • TC/HDL Ratio

This makes the Accurex system different from a basic Total Cholesterol meter such as QuikCheck, which measures only one cholesterol parameter.

Important purchasing information: this listing is for the Accurex Lipid Profile Meter. Compatible lipid test strips are sold separately and are required for testing.

What Does the Accurex Lipid Profile Meter Measure?

The Accurex system is designed for broader lipid testing than a conventional Total Cholesterol-only meter.

With the compatible LPS-101 3-in-1 lipid panel, it directly determines:

TC + HDL + TG

and then uses those results to calculate:

LDL + TC/HDL Ratio

Lipid Parameter How the Accurex System Reports It
Total Cholesterol Directly measured
HDL Cholesterol Directly measured
Triglycerides Directly measured
LDL Cholesterol Calculated
TC/HDL Ratio Calculated

Does the Accurex Lipid Meter Measure LDL Directly?

No.

With the LPS-101 lipid panel, LDL is calculated from the directly measured Total Cholesterol, HDL and Triglyceride values.

The LPM-101 platform uses the applicable calculation:

LDL = TC − HDL − TG/5

when lipid values are expressed in mg/dL and the calculation conditions are applicable.

Calculated LDL should not be confused with a direct laboratory LDL assay.

Accurex Lipid Profile Measurement Ranges

Parameter Approximate Measurement Range
Total Cholesterol 100–500 mg/dL
HDL Cholesterol 15–100 mg/dL
Triglycerides 45–650 mg/dL

If a result falls outside the applicable analytical range, the meter may display an out-of-range indication rather than an exact numerical value.

How Does the Accurex Lipid Profile Meter Work?

The Accurex / LPM-101 system uses reflectance photometry with dry-chemistry test strips.

During testing:

  1. A compatible Accurex test strip is inserted into the meter.
  2. The correct code chip for the strip lot is confirmed.
  3. The required specimen is applied to the strip.
  4. The sample moves through the strip reaction system.
  5. The lipid analytes react with enzymes and other chemicals in the reagent layer.
  6. The chemical reaction generates a colour change.
  7. The meter measures reflected light from the reaction area.
  8. The optical response is converted into a quantitative lipid concentration.

This analytical design allows several lipid parameters to be measured in a compact point-of-care format.

Which Test Strips Work with the Accurex Lipid Profile Meter?

The LPM-101 platform supports multiple designated strip references.

Strip Reference Test
LPS-101 3-in-1 Lipid Panel – TC + HDL + TG, with calculated LDL and TC/HDL ratio
TCS-101 Total Cholesterol
TGS-101 Triglycerides
HLS-101 HDL Cholesterol

Use only the test strips designated for the Accurex Blood Lipid Analysis System.

Important: Test Strips Are Sold Separately

This product listing is for the Accurex Lipid Profile Meter / Blood Lipid Analysis System.

Lipid profile test strips are not included with this product listing and must be purchased separately.

The reusable meter cannot perform a lipid test without the appropriate compatible disposable strip.

Before ordering the meter, consider ordering the corresponding test strips at the same time if you do not already have compatible stock.

How Much Sample Does the Accurex Lipid Profile Test Need?

For the LPS-101 3-in-1 lipid panel, the manufacturer specifies approximately:

35 µL of specimen

for one test.

The single-parameter TCS-101, TGS-101 and HLS-101 strip configurations use a smaller sample of approximately:

10 µL

Follow the instructions supplied with the exact strip being used.

How Fast Are Accurex Lipid Results?

The LPM-101 platform provides TC, HDL and TG results in approximately:

120 seconds / 2 minutes.

This allows rapid quantitative lipid testing in appropriate point-of-care settings.

Which Specimen Types Can Be Used?

The Accurex LPM-101 platform supports:

  • Capillary whole blood
  • Venous whole blood
  • Serum
  • Plasma

The meter includes specimen-type settings, and the selected mode should correspond to the actual sample being tested.

Specimen preparation and anticoagulant requirements differ between sample types.

Accurex Uses Code-Chip Calibration

The Accurex lipid system uses a code chip associated with the current test-strip pack.

When beginning a new strip box:

  1. Locate the code chip supplied with the strips.
  2. Insert the correct chip into the meter.
  3. Check the code on the strip packaging.
  4. Confirm that the meter displays the corresponding code.
  5. Proceed with testing only when the codes match.

Do not assume that a code chip from another strip lot or another strip type is interchangeable.

Accurex Lipid Meter Memory

The Accurex Blood Lipid Analysis System can store up to approximately:

500 test records.

This can be useful in professional workflows where previous point-of-care results need to be reviewed.

Rechargeable Portable Operation

The LPM-101 platform uses a built-in rechargeable lithium battery.

This supports use in clinics, screening programmes and other environments where portable testing is useful.

The meter should have adequate charge before beginning a testing session.

Manufacturer documentation states that testing should not be performed while the meter is actively charging.

Accurex Operating & Storage Conditions

Condition Specification
System Operating Temperature Approximately 10°C–35°C
Meter Storage / Transport Approximately 0°C–55°C
Test Strip Storage Approximately 2°C–30°C

The reusable meter and disposable test strips have different storage limits. Always follow the conditions applicable to the component being stored.

Who Can Consider the Accurex Lipid Profile Meter?

The Accurex Lipid Profile Meter may be useful in appropriate point-of-care workflows for:

  • Doctors and clinics
  • Diagnostic centres
  • Laboratories requiring portable lipid testing
  • Preventive-health programmes
  • Health-screening camps
  • Corporate wellness programmes
  • Mobile healthcare services
  • Professional lipid-monitoring workflows

The responsible healthcare professional or facility should determine the appropriate testing protocol and interpretation.
