The Accurex Lipid Profile Test Strips – 25 Pack are genuine dry-chemistry Blood Lipid Test Strips designed for use with the compatible Accurex Lipid Profile Meter / Blood Lipid Analysis System.
The 3-in-1 lipid panel directly measures three important lipid parameters from one compatible test:
Using these directly measured values, the compatible Accurex meter can also calculate:
Each pack contains 25 single-use lipid profile test strips for compatible point-of-care lipid testing.
Important: this listing is for the test strips only. The reusable Accurex Lipid Profile Meter is not included and must be purchased separately.

The 3-in-1 Accurex lipid panel directly determines:
TC + HDL + TG
from one compatible test-strip procedure.
The meter can then use those measured values to calculate:
LDL + TC/HDL Ratio
This provides substantially more lipid information than a Total Cholesterol-only strip.
| Parameter | Result Type |
|---|---|
| Total Cholesterol – TC | Measured directly |
| HDL Cholesterol | Measured directly |
| Triglycerides – TG | Measured directly |
| LDL Cholesterol | Calculated |
| TC/HDL Ratio | Calculated |
With the 3-in-1 lipid panel, LDL is calculated from the directly measured Total Cholesterol, HDL and Triglyceride results.
When values are expressed in mg/dL, the applicable formula is:
LDL = TC − HDL − TG/5
The manufacturer specifies this LDL calculation when the triglyceride concentration is approximately 400 mg/dL or lower.
Calculated LDL should not be confused with a direct LDL laboratory assay.
These strips are designed for the compatible:

The meter is reusable, while each test strip is a single-use diagnostic consumable.
These strips should not be treated as universal cholesterol or lipid strips.
Do not use them with:
Even if two diagnostic strips look similar, that does not establish compatibility.
The LPM-101 Blood Lipid Analysis System supports several strip references:
| Strip Reference | Test |
|---|---|
| LPS-101 | 3-in-1 lipid panel: TC + HDL + TG, with calculated LDL and TC/HDL ratio |
| TCS-101 | Total Cholesterol only |
| TGS-101 | Triglycerides only |
| HLS-101 | HDL Cholesterol only |
The current Microsidd 25-strip product is the 3-in-1 lipid-profile configuration for TC, HDL and TG testing.

The 3-in-1 Accurex Blood Lipid Test Strip requires approximately:
35 µL of specimen
The manufacturer recommends using a suitable capillary transfer tube or pipette to collect and apply the required volume.
Do not estimate the sample quantity by eye when accurate volume collection is available.
The compatible meter provides the lipid-panel result in approximately:
2 minutes.
During testing, leave the strip fully inserted and do not add additional specimen after the measurement has begun.
The Accurex Blood Lipid Test Strip system supports:
The meter's selected specimen type should correspond to the actual sample being tested.
Specimen preparation and anticoagulant requirements vary between sample types.

For fingertip capillary testing, the manufacturer instructs users to:
This procedure should be followed according to the current instructions supplied with the meter and strips.
The Accurex system uses a code-chip calibration system.
The manufacturer instructs users to use the code chip supplied with the test-strip package.
Before testing:
Using an incorrect code chip can produce inaccurate results.
The manufacturer specifies storage in the original sealed pouch or canister at approximately:
2°C–30°C
Important storage rules include:

The controlling expiry for the test strips is the manufacturer expiry date printed on the actual canister or foil pouch.
Do not determine current stock expiry from:
Always check the physical pack supplied to you.
The canister should normally be opened only long enough to remove the strip required for immediate testing, then closed tightly.
If a canister has been left open or exposed to unsuitable temperature, moisture or contamination, strip integrity may be uncertain.
Professional users should follow appropriate quality-control procedures before relying on questionable stock.
Handle the strip by the appropriate handling area.
Do not touch the reagent region because contamination, moisture or oils from the fingers can interfere with the intended analytical process.
Discard strips that are:
Each Accurex lipid strip is intended for one test only.
Never:
The required specimen should be applied correctly in one testing procedure.
If the strip is inadequately filled or the test fails because of specimen application:
