Mission 2GP Urinalysis Reagent Strips are 2-parameter urine test strips designed to screen glucose (GLU) and protein (PRO) in urine using a single strip.
They are suitable when the testing requirement is focused specifically on urine glucose and protein rather than a broader multi-parameter urinalysis panel.
Pack size: 100 reagent strips per canister.
| Parameter | Abbreviation | What It Screens |
|---|---|---|
| Glucose | GLU | Presence or concentration range of glucose in urine |
| Protein | PRO | Protein in urine, primarily albumin |
Glucose and protein are two commonly screened urine chemistry parameters, but they provide different types of information.
The glucose reagent area screens for glucose excreted into the urine.
Urinary glucose may occur when blood glucose exceeds the kidney's reabsorption threshold, although other causes are possible.
Urine glucose testing does not independently diagnose diabetes and should not replace blood glucose or HbA1c testing where those tests are clinically indicated.
The protein reagent area is designed primarily to detect albumin in urine.
Protein may appear in urine temporarily or persistently for several reasons. Repeated or unexpected protein findings require appropriate clinical interpretation and, where needed, further laboratory investigation.
Mission 2GP may be suitable for urine chemistry testing in settings such as:
| Product | Parameters | Best Suited For |
|---|---|---|
| Mission 1G | Glucose | Focused urine glucose screening |
| Mission 2GP | Glucose + Protein | Focused GLU + PRO screening |
| Mission 2GK | Glucose + Ketones | Focused GLU + KET screening |
| Mission 10U | 10 urine chemistry parameters | Broader routine urinalysis |

Always follow the current Instructions for Use supplied with your pack. Product-specific timing and interpretation instructions should take priority.
Mission 2GP can be interpreted visually by comparing the developed reagent pads with the colour chart supplied on or with the product.
Correct timing is important. Reading the strip too early or too late may affect interpretation.
No analyzer is required for visual testing.
The strip can be read manually using the supplied colour chart.
If automated or analyzer-based reading is intended, compatibility with the exact Mission strip configuration and analyzer model should be verified first.
Urine reagent strips contain chemically reactive areas and should be protected from environmental exposure.
Always follow the storage conditions and opened-canister stability stated on the actual product label and Instructions for Use supplied with your batch.
Microsidd also offers its own Glucose + Protein Urine Test Strips in a 100-test pack.
Both products are designed for focused glucose + protein urine screening, but buyers should select according to preferred brand, product specifications, availability and workflow.

Mission 2GP tests two urine chemistry parameters: glucose and protein.
The product is supplied as 100 reagent strips per canister.
No. Mission 2GP tests glucose and protein. For glucose + ketone screening, choose Mission 2GK.
It can screen for glucose in urine, but urine glucose testing alone does not diagnose diabetes.
No. The protein reagent area can screen for protein in urine, but a urine strip alone cannot diagnose kidney disease.
Yes. The strip can be read visually using the supplied colour chart.
Only if glucose and protein are the only required parameters. For broader routine urinalysis, a product such as Mission 10U may be more appropriate.
No. Each strip is intended for single use only.
Store them in their original tightly closed canister and protect them from moisture, excessive heat and direct sunlight. Follow the storage instructions supplied with the actual pack.
Mission 2GP urine reagent strips are intended as screening and monitoring aids.
Results should not be interpreted as a standalone medical diagnosis. Unexpected or persistent glucose or protein findings should be evaluated in the appropriate clinical context and confirmed with additional testing where necessary.
Do not start, stop or modify medication, diabetes treatment, diet or other medical care solely on the basis of a urine reagent-strip result.
Always follow the Instructions for Use supplied with the product.
This diagnostic consumable is non-returnable and non-exchangeable.
Please verify the brand, parameters, pack size and intended application before ordering.
Genuine cases involving an incorrect product received are handled separately according to Microsidd.com's applicable policies and applicable law.
